Pump Cleaning

  1. Unplug, disassemble and rinse impeller underwater.
  2. Clear any hair or debris inside the pump away.
  3. Place impeller back in and spin a few times to set alignment.
  4. Reassemble.

This needs to be done 1-3 times a month depending on the number of animals using the fountain. Filter cartridges should be changed every 2 - 4 weeks.
